GGB Bearing Technology Joins the FVA

GGB Bearing Technology, formerly Glacier Garlock Bearings, has become a member of the Forschungsvereinigung Antriebstechnik e.V. (FVA). The FVA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the research, development and training in drive technology for industrial plants, vehicles, mobile equipment and aircraft.

Driving toward advances in technology

Established over 40 years ago and now part of the Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau (VDMA), the FVA has nearly 200 corporate members, all of which are engaged in the production of drive train components, systems and accessories, in addition to 40 research institutes throughout Germany. As a platform for communication and knowledge transfer, the organization conducts collaborative research leading to the development and commercialization of innovative drive train solutions.
