Every industry has its own set of challenging requirements and applications, and our EP® line of tribological products are designed specifically to reduce and eliminate the need for costly maintenance or replacement of your bearing systems across a wide range of applications including: automotive, aerospace, food and beverage packing, medical, oil and gas, construction, agriculture, recreational, railway and energy. In the automotive industry, EP® products are being used in applications such as automatic gears, pumps, sealing for turbo compressors, piston rings and valve seats. In the aerospace industry they offer weight savings in compressor blades for turbojet engines.

Our line of EP® surface engineering solutions provide excellent wear resistance and low friction in both dry and lubricated operating conditions over a wide range of applications. This 2:32 video serves as an introduction to basic design and functions of plain bearings. Plain bearings, also known as bushes, bushings or sleeve bearings are usually cylindrical in shape and contain no moving parts. GGB offers standard configurations that typically include cylindrical bearings, flanged bearings, thrust washers, flanged thrust washers and sliding plates.
