This Privacy Statement is intended to provide you with comfort and confidence in how we collect and use personal and other information, and how you can contact us if you have any questions or concerns. Your use of our Site signifies your understanding and acceptance of the terms of this Privacy Statement. If you do not agree with any terms of this Privacy Statement, please do not use our Site or submit any personal information to us. We reserve the right to change or replace this Privacy Statement, in whole or in part, at our sole discretion at any time. If this Privacy Statement should materially change, we will post a notice of such change in a separate section of this Privacy Statement so you are aware of what changed. Your continued use of our Site following the posting of changes to our Privacy Statement means you accept those changes.

1. Personal Information We Collect:

When you visit our Site, we will not collect any personal information about you unless you provide it voluntarily. “Personal information” is data that can be used to uniquely identify or contact a single person. When you buy products from or conduct business with GGB, and when you visit, use or register on our Site, request information, submit comments, or participate in any other interactive feature of our Site, or otherwise communicate or interact with us, we may collect certain personal information from you for a variety of business purposes, including in order to provide requested product information, marketing, promotional or other information, and improve upon our products and services. [Users who register to receive information via a wireless device may be asked to submit a cell phone number to receive text messages. We may also offer the option to interact with one of our representatives directly while using our Site in order to ask questions, request information, and to assist you in using our products, and we will record the information you provide during these interactions to assist us in providing and improving our services.] If you opt not to provide us with personal information you can still access many features of our Site, however you may be unable to create login credentials in order to use certain functionalities on our Site, or receive product information.

We may also supplement the information we collect about you through our Site with outside records from third parties in order to enhance our ability to serve you, to tailor our content to you and to offer you opportunities to purchase products or services that we believe may be of interest to you. We may combine the information we receive from these third parties with information we collect through our Site. In those cases, we will apply this Privacy Statement to any personal information received, unless we have disclosed otherwise.

GGB may receive information about you from third parties. For example, if you are on another website and you opt-in to receive information from GGB, that website will forward to us your email address and other information about you so that we may contact you as requested. [You may also choose to participate in a third-party application or feature (such as one of our Facebook or Twitter pages or a similar page or feature on another social platform or website) through which you allow us to collect (or the third party to share) information about you, including personal information. In addition, we may receive information about you if other users of a third party website give us access to their profiles and you are one of their "connections" or information about you is otherwise accessible through your "connections'" web page, profile page, or similar page on a social networking or other third-party website or interactive service.]

If at any time you provide a third party’s personal information to us, you warrant that you have permission to do so and you agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless GGB from and against any claim, liability, cost and expense arising in connection with your provision of that information.

3. Other Information We Collect:

Information on our Site is free to browse at your leisure without the need for you to provide us with personal information, but GGB collects other non-personal information from all Site visitors on an aggregate (or anonymous) basis. Non-personal information may include information such as IP address assigned to your computer or mobile devices that you use to access the Site, tracking Site pages that are visited, the amount of time spent on our Site, clicks, page views, and which features users interacted with. Our primary goal in collecting aggregate information from Site visitors is to be able to perform Site metrics that allow us to improve the functionality of our Site.

4. Cookies and Other Methods to Collect Information Online:

We may use session and persistent "cookies," session logs, spot light ads/web beacons/GIF/pixel tags, banner ads or links, and third-party click tracking analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to collect aggregate or other non-personal information about Site visitors. These technologies are used by many websites to give users access to certain functions (e.g., for security purposes, to tailor communications with you, and to facilitate and personalize your experience while navigating a website). An explanation for these items and how they work follows.

A "cookie" is a small text file that helps us in many ways to make your visit to our Site more enjoyable and meaningful to you. For example, cookies avoid you having to log in every time you come back to our Site if you have registered with out Site. They also allow us to tailor a web experience or advertisement to better match your interests and preferences. There are a couple different types of cookies, which are discussed below. You can read in the “Help” function in your Internet browser how to prevent cookies, accept new cookies or deleted existing cookies. You can also learn there how to block all cookies or set up notifications for new cookies.

A "session" cookie is stored only in your computer's working memory (RAM) and only lasts for your browsing session. When you close all of your browser's windows, or when you shut down your computer, the session cookie disappears forever.

A "persistent" cookie is stored on your computer's hard drive until a specified date, which could be tomorrow, next week, or 10 years from now. Persistent cookies stay on your computer until either (a) they expire, (b) they are overwritten with newer cookies, or (c) you manually remove them. Most browsers can be configured not to accept cookies; however, this may prevent you from having access to some Site functions or features.

Our Site may use a third party to deliver site functionality such as fulfilling your request to purchase items from our online store. In performing this function the third party may place a persistent cookie on your computer or have to gather personal information from you in order to facilitate the processing of your purchase.

When you visit our Site, the server housing its pages automatically generates a "session log." We use session logs to help us determine how people travel through our Site. In this way, we can structure our pages so that the information most frequently visited is easier to find. By tracking page visits, we can also determine if the information we're providing is being used. The only data gathered is the Internet Protocol (IP) address from which you came (which contains no personal information), the website that referred you, the pages you visited and the date and time of those visits.

5. Information We Share with Others:

We may use or disclose your personal information to affiliates (distributors and partners in certain promotional and marketing programs) in order to protect the security and integrity of our Site, to correct technical problems and malfunctions on our Site, to process and fulfill orders for our products and services, or to take precautions against liability. We also may provide your personal information (i) to vendors who provide services on our behalf (including to service providers that help with the development and operation of our Site), (ii) to your company or organization if you purchase our products and services under a corporate or other commercial account, and (iii) in connection with any products or services you purchase to (1) your credit card issuer, (2) credit reporting and fraud checking agencies as necessary, and (3) debt collection agencies, if you fail to pay monies owed to us or our affiliates. If you request our products or services via a mobile device, your request will be transmitted via your mobile carrier’s network and your carrier may have access to it. Consult your carrier’s privacy policy for additional information.

We reserve the right to transfer any information we have about you in connection with a sale, merger, consolidation, change-in-control, transfer of assets, reorganization or liquidation of our business. We reserve the right to disclose any personal information as needed if that information is requested by law enforcement agencies or if we are required to do so by law, treaty, regulation, subpoena, court order, or by a government entity. We also may disclose your personal information to third parties if we have reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary to conduct investigations of possible breaches of law, to cooperate in any legal investigation, or to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be violating the terms of use of our Site.

6. Access to and Control Over Use of Your Information:

You may opt-out of having your personal information used for commercial purposes. Users who no longer wish to receive our promotional communications may contact us by email to be removed from our lists. Please allow 10 days for processing of your request and be sure to include any contact information that you want removed from our promotional contacts list, including physical addresses, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses (if you use more than one e-mail address, send your opt-out e-mail from each of your e-mail addresses.) If you receive any online newsletter or similar promotional e-mail communication from us, you will always be given the option to “unsubscribe” from receiving further e-mail communications from us at any time. Your option not to receive promotional and marketing material will not limit us from corresponding with you, by e-mail or otherwise, regarding your existing or past business relationships with us (e.g., any purchase of our products or use of our services, or responses to requests for information you pose to us either through use of a Site or by other means), and will not limit us from accessing and viewing your personal information in the course of maintaining and improving our Site and our other offerings.

If you want to opt-out of receiving any communications from us, or to correct or update your personal information (such as zip code, phone, email or postal address), contact us as indicated below.

Upon request, we will also provide access to information that we maintain about your Site usage, including unique identifier information (e.g., customer number or password), financial information (e.g., credit card account information), transaction information (e.g., dates on which customers made purchases, amounts and types of purchases), and contact information (e.g., name, address, phone number). The scope of access available for this request is for information stored in our database for www.ggbearings.com.

Although guaranteed security does not exist on the Internet or offline, we make commercially reasonable efforts to secure personal information you provide to use consistent with this Privacy Statement and applicable laws.

You understand that personal and other information that you post on or through public areas of our Site are generally accessible to, and may be collected and used by, others and may result in unsolicited messages or other contact from others.
