Joins North America and Asia as third continent and facility to receive specification, enabling GGB to supply directly to major global OEMs and manufacturers
GGB, an industry leader and innovator in tribology and surface engineering technologies, has announced that its Heilbronn, Germany facility has earned the EN 9100 certification from TÜV Rheinland. GGB now has three certified facilities on three continents, with Europe joining North America and Asia. This certification allows GGB to supply products directly to major global manufacturers and OEMs.
The EN 9100 / AS9100D certification is the aerospace quality management system that serves as a standard for the aerospace industry. For more than 50 years, GGB has engineered bearings and other tribological solutions for a variety of applications in the industry. Lightweight, maintenance-free bearings are used on landing gear, flight controls and engines, to passenger seating and a wide variety of made-to-measure applications for the Aerospace industry.
